Beau was very anxious about the Big Thunder Mountain ride. But, once the ride got going, all was well.

We were very excited to see all the Disney characters. Our first encounter was with Goofy. This was in 'Toon Town' - our favorite area of the park. 

Waiting in line for Disneyland

This picture was taken while we were waiting in line at Disneyland. This is one of my favorites. Good colors on the boys and real smiles! 

Disneyland Front Gate

Here is the requisite Disneyland entrance photo. As you can see from Mickey's flowers, the park was celebrating its 50th anniversary.

Austin has his forced smile going and I didn't realize I was blocking Beau - just can't get this right. 

Day 1 - Disneyland Trip

Today was not super exciting. Mostly driving. Dad and the GPS had several conversations. Not sure why he talks to those things. He said he was going to call uncle chip to ask why the GPS was acting so crazy. Then he later realized he had entered maps for all of southern california, with the exception of Anaheim, the home of Disneyland. We did eventually make it to the beach.
